DAY 1!!!!!!!!!

First of off I need to say, RAYMOND AND HECTOR: You two out did yourselves... everything is beautiful!!!! I'm in constant amazement and I haven't even gone to anywhere yet!

I'm here at the hotel, its 8:30p here, about 2:00pEST.

The KLM flight from dulles to amsterdam was long, watched 4 movies and of course, never to disappoint, interesting people sitting next to me. By interesting I mean "creepy man". He not only choose to sport his natural odor, but used his cell phone through lift off, tried to claim my seat, and talked to me consistently (while i wore earphones)- hassling me to draw a picture of him and finally ending with an annoying request for my email to hassle moi some more in the near future.

There was barely any layover in Amsterdam, the airport looked frighteningly similar to Narita airport in Japan. The company was a little better on the 1.5 hr flight to barcelona, but still another creepy man who eventually offered to share a taxi to the hotels.... even despite the fact that his was on the opposite side of the city. That offer i politely declined....

It was about 30C, roughly 86F, and sunny! The train was super clean and efficient, a little different set up from the Metros in Seoul however. I stepped out onto the street at around 12:05

I took the train into the eixample area, and due to this (random!) prominent diagonal street and construction fences I spent 1hr walking around looking for the Gallery hotel, where i'm staying.
